JOB DESCRIPTION:
BASIC FUNCTION : To greet guest, seat them, present menus and provide assistance with service of food and beverage.
RESPONSIBILITY & AUTHORITY : Responsible for efficient, friendliness, courteous greeting and seating of guests in the Restaurant.
KEY JOB TASK PERFORMED
- Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner at the entrance of the restaurant and ascertain their seating arrangements.
- Present menus to guest explaining daily specialities and seasonal foods.
- Ensure that menus/beverage lists are clean and in good order.
- Assists when required with the actual service of food and beverage.
- Exhibits personal deportment, appearance, attitude in a manner which will enhance the guests experience and satisfaction.
- Learns the facilities of the hotel and the daily events and functions in order to satisfy guests enquiries.
- Learns hotel fire and safety policies and procedures.
- To collect business cards of guests and maintaining guests inventory.
- Telesales.
