JOB DESCRIPTION:
Basic Functions : Responsible for mixing and serving, dispensing and control the sale of alcohol and non-alcohol beverages.
Primary Duties :
1. Have a thorough of the various types of cocktails and mixed drinks, the mixing and serving methods involved and the different types and brands of alcoholic beverages.
2. Pour draft and bottles beer, operate electric and manual cocktail shakers, mixers and use strainer, spoons and other stirring devices.
3. Be familiar with the type of glasses generally used for certain drinks.
4. Cut, peel and otherwise prepare fruits for use in the drinks.
5. Be responsible for the cleanliness of the bar and the general working area; wash, dry and put away glasses.
6. Take periodic inventories of bar supplies and assure adequate stock on hand at all times by requisitioning or ordering needed items.
7. Helps in setting up service bar and portable bars for banquet functions.
