PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsible for providing customer service and enforcement of the facilities policies and procedures. To be responsible for the preparation, cleanliness and supervision of assigned leisure facilities; to provide assistance to all guests by promptly responding to requests, offering guidance and attending to special needs.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer
- Verify access to the facilities or program by checking identification and/or control desk computer system
- Greeting customers with a customer service attitude
- Providing information about Recreation, other facilities and programs offered.
- Assisting guests/visitors with squash and tennis court reservations, aerobic room bookings; activity registration, membership applications and facility reservations.
- Assist with special event setup
- Assist in handling all emergency situations and implement emergency procedures as needed.
- Intervene in disputes and actions of unsafe behavior
- Report all accidents and incidents to Assistant Operations Manager or Operations Manager.
- Perform general maintenance and cleaning in activity areas.
- Cleaning of fitness equipment to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
- Daily checks of equipment to ensure proper function and safety.
- Fulfill the swimming pool duties as required.
- Oversee the general safety and behavior of the public, safe use of facilities; and direct the activities of users to prevent injury, misuse, damage to facilities and equipment.
- Set up equipment; assemble and dismantle equipment (including sports and exhibition displays and other events).
- Undertake specific and general cleaning duties, including internal and external areas involving the use of all cleaning machinery and other equipment allocated.
- Assist, guide or provide a service for others within the – internal and external, issue and safeguard of clothes and personal belongings, key holding duties, and other related duties during events and other occasions.
- Assist in reinforcement of the policy of Fraser Suites Dubai and comply with all procedures.
- Undertake such other relevant duties as may from time to time be required.

PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
Education
- Secondary Education
- Confident in English spoken and written skills
- First Aid and CPR Certification
- Physical Fitness Trainer Education
Experience
- Previous Experience in a 4-5 Star Hotel
Technical
- Good understanding of Recreation Facilities Manual; and administrative guidelines.
- Understanding of safety practices.
- Understand and demonstrate the appropriate use of facilities
- Competent swimmer
