Successful candidates for this role would be expeced to be able:
• To operate, maintain and repair all audio-visual equipment within the hotel e.g. amplifiers, microphones, TV’s etc. as per the manufacturer specification.
• To set up the AV requirements for conference, meeting rooms and banquet functions
• To carry out periodic checks of all the AV system located at the guest rooms, public areas and meeting rooms.
• To maintain the head N End Room satellite system always in the efficient working order.
• To attend to guest rooms complaints.
• To always maintain the inventory of all the AV System in the hotel and follow the hotel policy while sending out any equipment for repair.
• To develop individually to be a multi skill technician.
• To keep his tools in good working condition and maintain the inventory of the same.
• Execution of daily repair requests/ works as per engineering department manual and manufacturers catalogues.
• Works in shifts as per the department needs.
• Maintains engineering premises clean and tidy at all times.
• Attend daily briefing at 8:00AM ready in uniform.
• Collecting all works assigned to him.
• Filling all needed information in various sheets.
• To coordinate all the above mentioned activities with all other activities in the hotel by utilizing the proper chain of command with the objective of securing full effectiveness of all efforts on common tasks.
• Executing any other works requested by the Chief Engineer or Maintenance Supervisor.
