We are currently searching for Bar Supervisors to join our growing team. Potential candidates must have experience in beverage services and providing exceptional customer service to guests in a four or five star resort, hotel or cruise line.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assisting bar staff as needed with on-the-job training and motivation, while providing the Assistant Bar Manager with feedback on employees as requested
Providing quality customer service to guests following Royal Caribbean International's exceptional service standards
Addressing complaints and resolving problems for both employees and guests
Ensuring proper set-up and break down of all assigned outlets, maintaining inventory as needed
Ensuring the continuous and accurate participation of the bar service operation; recording production and operational data on specified forms
Preparing daily reports as needed
Assisting in maintaining of all ship's bars, lounges, service bars and bar storage areas and outer Island bars and bar storage areas.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and keeping bar sufficiently stocked with supplies
Qualifications
Hiring requirements:
Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in a high volume setting, as well as experience simultaneously managing at least three venues (and 15 people), with P&L and cost / inventory control responsibilities
Ability to accommodate a 6 months on / 2 months off contract schedule for this onboard position
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field from an accredited college, university or the international equivalent is preferred
Ability to read, write and speak English clearly and distinctly
All international applicants must have the ability to obtain C1/D1 visa when applicable
Ability to participate in emergency life-saving drills and required training
