We are currently searching for Associate Hotel Directors to join our team! This position is a four month onboard contract consisting of two months as Food and Beverage manager, and two months as acting Hotel Director. Successful candidates will be considered for regular Hotel Director assignments based on their successful performance. This position also includes four months vacation per year. Potential candidates must have five or more years of proven senior management experience in a four or five star hotel, resort or cruise line.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Maintains highest level of guest satisfaction by overseeing the delivery of quality guest services and amenities, as well as addressing guests' complaints and resolving issues effectively
Works closely with various departments and management including Hotel department and Technical team for maintenance issues and overall ship appearance and operation
Manages day to day financial transactions and ensures accuracy prior to reviews by hotel director
Responsible for attending meetings in accordance with Hotel department needs, including Workplace Safety to represent hotel in all safety issues, investigations and concerns
Oversees the tendering operations in all tender ports of call, as well as regular walks on the ship to ensure highest quality and service standards are being met
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field from an accredited college or university, or the international equivalent preferred
Five or more years successful and progressive leadership experience in a four or five star hotel or resort, with exemplary operational experience in Food and Beverage. Additional Front Office, and Housekeeping experience preferred
Exceptional communication skills that deliver results in issues with government authorities, crew and guests
Ability to manage international staff in a positive and productive manner
Ability to read, write and speak English clearly and distinctly
Must be able to accommodate a 4 months on / 2 months off contract schedule
Strong communication skills in additional languages are desired
