The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the maintenance and repair of electrical installation in work priority directed by Chief Electrical Engineer.

Qualifications

Minimum Hiring Requirements:

Education as Electrical, Electronic, or Power Engineer

Well documented experience from large electrical plants onboard ships or offshore installations

Basic Safety Training in accordance with the STCW

Convention as amended 1995

Advance Fire Fighting Training Course in accordance with the STCW Convention as amended 1995

Computer Literacy; familiar with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, etc.)

Preferred Education and/or experience from:

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent 4-year university degree preferred)


Ability to read, write and speak English clearly and distinctly

All international applicants must have the ability to obtain C1/D1 visa (and other relevant visas) when applicable

Must meet all physical requirements, including the ability to participate in emergency life-saving drills and required training
