Cluster Director of Sales, Maldives
Minimum five years experience as Director of Sales / similar capacity in international hotel chains
Acute awareness of the Indian Ocean leisure market E.g. Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles
Experience of closing sales in emerging markets China, South and South East Asia
University degree preferable
Knowledge of market trends and behavior including political, economical and social issues
Self-confident, creative, proactive, with ability to prioritize and make effective decisions
Fluency in written and verbal English with addition of an European language
Sound interpersonal and communication skills and excellent personal presentation
Ability to build strong relationships, interact and influence others at all levels of the organization
Ability to deal with multiple stakeholders and to manage a multi unit role
Ability to lead, work independently and under pressure
Highly organized and able to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast pace environment
Knowledge in e-commerce, B2B and B2C business philosophies
Knowledge and skills in crisis management
Excellent computer skills in all Microsoft Office products to enable professional completion of reports, presentations and collaterals.
Well travelled especially in Asia & should have no travel restrictions.
