Executive Lounge Supervisor
The Objective of the position
The Executive Lounge Supervisor must possess a passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service and be energetic, enthusiastic, self motivated and able to motivate others.
She/he will supervise the whole operation of the Executive Lounge by overseeing and delegating work for the waiters/esses while ensuring a prompt and high standard of quality guest service at all times to the leisure and business travelers.
She / he must anticipate and meets guests' needs and requests to ensure complete guest satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Handle day- to-day operation of Business Class Lounge to ensure high standard of service and guest care at all times as directed by the F&B management
• Greet Business Class and suite guests by their names at all times
• Handle any guests' complaints according to Radisson Blu complaint handling standards
• Ensure performance of colleagues is managed as per company guidelines
• Promote teamwork and co-operation on a continuous basis
• Maintain open line of communication and co-ordination with related departments to ensure guests' requests and complaints are handled effectively and efficiently
• Identify and anticipate guests' needs and requirements and to be a continual source of information, help and assistance for them
• Oversee the business Centre operation & be familiar with the basic tasks associated.
• Work with the IT team on the business centre requirements, report any faults in the related equipments
• Carry out continual checks of guest satisfaction
• Conduct on-jobs trainings for colleagues in the Lounge
• Ensure proper colleagues grooming and attendance is adhered
• Respond to internal/external e-mails
• Ensure clear Standard Operating Procedures are developed, communicated, updated and implemented to ensure compliance the Radisson Standards
• Attend the F&B daily briefing and conduct briefings with the team
• Maintain knowledge of all menu items and service procedures in the lounge
• Adhere to hotel health and safety policies, in particular the Food Hygiene standards
• Ensure the log book is constantly kept up to date with new information
• Check all mise-en-place of the Lounge are ready for service at each period
• Ensure that service is smooth and efficient
• Check daily requisition and expiry dates of F&B products
• Ensure all operating stock is well maintained
• Assure the upkeep and cleanliness of the lounge, the terrace and the pantry at all times
• Work closely with the Meeting & events team & be aware of the various meetings held in the hotel
• Assist the M&E operation team in guiding the delegates & assisting with the business centre requirement
Requirements Experience
• Minimum of 2 years F&B supervisory experience in a 4/ 5 star Hotel
Skills Essential:
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• F&B experience
• Knowledge of basic Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of front office applications
