We are looking for an experienced Director of Sales and Marketing who will be responsible for managing the implementation of the hotel's sales and marketing strategies, and the development of new business within the group and events segments.
The main responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
. Reporting to the General Manager, He/She will be responsible for establishing and directing the marketing and sales activities of hotel including advertising and public relations.
. Implementing and monitoring action plans to ensure the objectives are achieved, analysing current markets and trends, and efficiently managing a team of sales professionals.
. Identify sales opportunities
. Plan sales strategy, tactics and activities to achieve hotel Sales targets.
. Monitor team performance against strategy and delivery of sales tactics.
. Actively prospect and guide team in searching for attractive new business.
. Negotiate major deals and support team negotiations.
. Recommend to the General Manager all methods of maintaining, increasing the business volume.
. To meet and exceed sales target set in the monthly and yearly forecast, and to direct all efforts towards mazimixing the hotel's profit on all operating departments.
Ideal candidate will have the following:
. Arabic native is a must
. Abu Dhabi Market Experience or else a UAE market experience.
. High level strategic decision making skills.
. Advanced levels of English
. Strong communicator and dynamic personality.
. Passion for planning, organizing and administering all sales activities.
