Job Description
Aloft Abu Dhabi is currently seeking a Front Office Manager to join the team. Reporting to the Director of Rooms, this key role is responsible for planning, directing, controlling and coordinating all Front Office activities and ensuring the smooth running of the entire department. You will work closely with the Reservations and Sales Departments to ensure room revenue is maximized whilst ensuring that all Front Office Talents exceed guest’s expectations whilst adhering to the hotel’s policies and procedures. The successful applicant will have had previous experience in a similar role in the UAE, with excellent communication skills and a proven commitment to providing excellence in service. An ability to motivate and lead a team along with a strong knowledge of all Front Office activities and hotel operation is essential. You will be well presented, with an exceptional eye for detail and excellent organizational skills. An ability to work well under pressure and be a positive management representative of the hotel will be critical to your success.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Hospitality Management or related area preferred. • Strong influencing and relationship building skills • Excellent analytical skills • Previous experience of working within a hotel is essential • At least 2 years experience in a similar role • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written • Previous work experience in the UAE is essential
