Planning and programming of all Engineering operations
1. Ensures the execution of work order, construction work orders, and/or repairs and maintenance order system applicable to the Hotel
2. Assists in the daily scheduling and weekly forecasting of all maintenance work
3. Analyses and monitors energy costs and expenditure for the department
4. Determine six monthly operating efficiencies of major equipment and take necessary corrective measures when variances from standards are excessive
5. Participates in conducting fire prevention training programs
6. Supports and initiates programs for the improvement in procedures and the reduction of costs
7. Establishes and maintain effective employee relations
8. Ensures 10-15 minutes response for all urgent maintenance requests including guest requests
9. Communicates with guests by telephone or in person to ensure that maintenance request have been satisfactorily completed
10. Performs facility/safety check ahead of function/event starting time and eliminate hazards and risks
11. Performs facility/safety check of hotel premises and eliminate hazards and risks
12. Giving work directions, resolves problems prepares schedules and sets deadlines
13. Ensures strict adherence to safety rules when undertaking maintenance repair work
14. Establishes and uses techniques to monitor and supervise the work of subordinates. Monitors the results of delegated assignments
