Job summary:
Ensure efficient delivery and service of all MICE or WEDDINGS or OSC within and outside DWTC complex.

Major responsibilities and accountabilities:
Business:
• Manage specific Banquet activities in assigned area i.e. MICE or Weddings or Outside Catering to maintain productivity, quality, service, creativity and guest satisfaction.
• Delegates and assigns responsibilities to the team.
• Keeps abreast of the evolving market trends.
Financial:
• Contribute to attain overall goals, budgeted financial results and objectives of the MICE or Weddings or OSC.
• Establish cost control and cost reduction measures on continuous basis.
• Participates in formulating targets of the annual budget for the various revenue generating outlets of Banquets.
Customer:
• Ensure customer satisfaction with products and services in coordination with his team.
• Provide a warm, professional and regular relationship with guests, customers and contractors to ensure a prompt and high standard of service.
• Handle suggestions and complaints by guests, customers and contractors and ensure they are dealt with promptly and efficiently.
• Maintains effective communication on the activities of the Banquets with other operating departments within Food and Beverage/Dubai World Trade Centre in order to provide best possible service to the guests.
People:
• Manage and train Team to ensure maximization of productivity.
• Update SOP’s and conduct/implement annual training plan.
• Ensures that employee’s suggestions /comments/ grievances are handled promptly and fairly.
• Evaluate the performance of the team and administrate a personal development program thus improving standards and motivation.
Accountabilities:
Follow & implement the DWTC Policies, Procedures and Guidelines.
Continually seek opportunities to develop self and if applicable team.
Implement duties in line with the Quality standards, Security and Food Safety & Health requirements.
Strictly adhere to Dubai Police Liquor licence regulations and Dubai Municipality Food Control.
Implement any other duties as assigned by the Catering Manager/Banquet Operation Manager.
As duties change, it will be reflected in the job description after discussions are held with the post holder in the yearly performance evaluations.
