Holiday Inn Dubai Al Barsha serves up a big ‘thank you’ to their team
Holiday Inn Dubai Al Barsha is saying up a big ‘thank you’ to its people to show their appreciation and reward them for all their hard work. From chefs to concierges, housekeeping to hotel management, Holiday Inn Dubai Al Barsha will be celebrating every one of the 238 people who work at the hotel for their contribution.
Holiday Inn Dubai Al Barsha is taking part in ‘Celebrate Service Week’ – an initiative launched by IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) and its Owners’ Association, the IAHI, designed to give back to their people who work tirelessly every day to keep guests happy. ‘Celebrate Service Week’ will run from 26 – 30 July 2010 and is dedicated to celebrating the 330,000 people who work across its 4,400 hotels, including the Holiday Inn Dubai Al Barsha
During the week Mr. Reda Mukhtar and Hotel team will celebrate and thank everyone who works at Holiday Inn Al Barsha. Mr. Reda will go around the hotel with a little note of thank you and chocolates for each staff saying: “Let us serve You”. Department heads will prepare and serve special dishes from their countries of Origin for “Lunch all Together”. In addition, there will be a staff annual party video session “Pop Corn & Nachos” for all staff members. Part of the celebrations will be the birthdays of the month and recognition awards. Mr. Reda will also inaugurate the entertainment room at the staff accommodation.

And 160,000 jobs will be created over the next five years as 1,300 more hotels open under these brands.
