Chef Guido Thomeczek- New Executive Chef appointed at Al Ain Rotana

Al Ain Rotana is proud to announce the appointment of Chef Guido Thomeczek as the new Executive Chef. Chef Guido has recently joined Al Ain Rotana team this January 2010. He has been working at Beach Rotana Hotel and Towers, one of the Leading hotels of the world for the last two years as the specialty outlet chef focusing on two restaurants and two lounges.

He has worked at several restaurants across Germany and China and held a higher position in Alte Mark, Hamm Germany, Sheraton Lido Hotel Shenyang, PR China, Jinling Hotel Nanjing, PR China, Hotel Raddisson SAS Lansheng Shanghai, PR China, Gloria Resort Hainan Island, PR China, all as Executive Chef. He has also been an executive chef and co-owner of Catering Service in Hamm, Germany. In addition, he's also held the position as Sous Chef in Hilton Hotel Izmir, Turkey and Kempiski Hotel Beijing, PR China.

During his 20 years experience, Chef Guido has gained knowledge on German, Italian and Asian Cuisine and has had the honour of working on restaurant launches and assisting with the culinary operations with mostly members of the Leading hotels of the world such as Sheraton Lido Hotel Shenyang and Jinling Hotel Nanjing in China.

Chef Guido will be responsible for creating new menus for the newest all-dining in Al Ain Rotana, Zest- the first restaurant in Al Ain to introduce live cooking which will soon to be opened this year.
