Francesco Agus appointed Food and Beverage Manager of Moevenpick Hotel Bahrain

Moevenpick Hotel Bahrain is pleased to announce the appointment of Francesco Agus in the capacity of Food and Beverage Manager as of February 01, 2010.

Francesco joins Moevenpick Hotels and Resorts in June 2007 as Regional Sales Manager in United Kingdom.

Francesco is an Italian national with over 11 years of experience in international hospitality. Prior to his appointment, Alfonso was a Regional Sales Manager in Moevenpick Hotels & Resorts in United Kingdom.

He has worked most of his career within United Kingdom including Senior International Conference and Incentive at Expotel, General Manager of Sugo Tre Restaurant and L'arena Restaurant, F&B Manager at Jury's Clifton Ford Hotel and Assistant F&B Manager at The Berners Hotel.

He started his career in hotel business as a bar man when he was 16 years old in a hotel in Sardinia, Italy owned by his Godfather during summer holidays. From then on he became very passionate about the hotels; he loves to interact with different people from all over the world and learn more about their culture.

Francesco is very excited to be back in hotel's operation and Food & Beverage with a goal of combining his Western experience into the Middle East.

Francesco loves to do sports. He exercise a lot in the gym in England but passionate about outside sports like cycling, swimming and kite surfing. He is very excited to do all of these outdoor sports as Bahrain offers the best spots to do all of them. Francesco loves the clear weather in Bahrain very similar to his home country compare to a cold weather in England.
