Executive Chef Steven Wilson rejoins Six Senses Resorts and Spas in his recent appointment as Executive Chef at Six Senses Zighy Bay.

Steven stepped away from Six Senses Soneva Fushi, graduating to Executive Chef at GHM’s luxury Vietnam Resort The Nam Hai. He returns to SLOW LIFE stating, “I thoroughly enjoy working with sustainable food trends and the exciting challenges of SLOW food. This brought me back to Six Senses and the fresh culinary opportunities of Oman. I’m spoilt for choice with our 2,500 square metre Chef’s garden located centrally at the heart of our resort where we have over twenty varieties of herbs, fruits and vegetables...

Executive Chef Steven Wilson will oversee the Culinary Team of 48 chefs in our four dining outlets. “The Team and I are collaborating our creative spirits to create new menus and concepts in Zighy Bay’s first bistro and add à la carte menu to Sense on the Edge”

With over fifteen years in the holistic health community, Steve Harvey has a well rounded understanding of the spa industry. His traditional career in dental technology transitioned into the spa industry through his passion for holistic health practices. Most recently, he has used these skills working with the opening team of the Serenity Villa Spa at Amanyara (an Aman resort) in the Turks & Caicos Islands. His roles included Spa Manager as well as the Spa’s Master in Residence – a role in which he delivered his own unique one-of-a-kind healing modality called Steppingstone Sessions to the hotels distinguished guests. 

Steve Harvey is a deeply gifted holistic healer, energy therapist and life & relationship coach who is quickly establishing a reputation worldwide (having treated A-list celebrities). He brings his experience and prowess to Six Senses Zighy Bay to propel the newly launched Wellness Programmes.

At the core of his practice is the belief that all diseases start with wrong choices, caused by energetic imbalances that are not seen or addressed at their inception. “By addressing the root causes of disharmony, we can potentially prevent further physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual disharmonies from manifesting, thus enabling a deeper connection with the essence of who we are and experience our full capacity for life”.
