I am a Hospitality Management professional and a Certified trainer (CHE) with over 2 decades of L&D experience in South East Asia and in the Middle East. My latest assignment was with AHM Marine, an catering company with around 70 locations in the MENA region, employing over 1000 team members.
In my role as their Training and Quality Manager, I was entrusted with redefining the company's L&D initiatives and draw up a Training strategy for the coming years. Before joining AHM Marine, I had worked as the L&D Manager for a Hospitality management company in Dubai, Gourmet Gulf, which owned and operated a number of multinational restaurant brands such as California Pizza kitchen, Hummingbird bakery, Yo!Sushi, Texas de Brazil, Panda Express; to name a few. Here also, I worked with a multi-cultural team of over 500 employees across the MENA region. I am well versed in Training needs analysis, Instructional design and Performance evaluation.
I also have an MBA in Human Resources and a BA in English language which has helped me a lot in my L&D responsibilities, both as a dynamic leader and as an efficient communicator. I am also a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) who has won many Public speaking contests; another skill that adds an edge to my training sessions.
I was part of the team that set up three Hospitality institutes including the only one in Abu Dhabi, the European International College. Prior to that I have worked extensively the Hospitality education sector as a Food & Beverage instructor.
