My name is Rafael Maturana Martinez, I have experience of 20 years in customer service, in the hotel and tourism part, I speak English and French advanced, I come from managing the executive floor of the Hotel Las Américas Cartagena entity in which I was 3 years.
I had the opportunity to be a representative of the Canadian agency TRANSAT TOUR CANADA in Cartagena Colombia for 5 winter seasons of 6 months, I have also been director of the travel agent for Decamerón hotels in Haiti for 1 year, I have also worked with Decamerón Hotels in Panama for 3 years and I have been a language teacher too.
With this I consider that I am ready for the new millennium companies, since I have a clear vision in the part of customer service,and this allows me to become a driver of change in any organization offering services, I can easily move in the theoretical and practical aspects of hospitality and tourism, I will also transmit my knowledge efficiently.
In the last 2 jobs, I have been committed working to generate income at the hotel, promoting reservations at the a la carte restaurant of the resort, and plans for the SPA, as well as special events on established dates such as Christmas And at the new year eve year, I have managed to arrange the sale of tours daily. Through my management I got the satisfaction of many clients. When I worked in the Decamerón travel agency in Haiti, I met sales goals for 9 months, I managed to make sales with an average of 2 groups per month, I managed to negotiate with airlines from the Dominican Republic to transport the crew team.
