Hozpitality Group is proud to announce the inclusion of Anirudh Chaturvedi, Cluster Director of Finance at Novotel Dubai World Trade Centre & ibis World Trade Centre and ibis One Central, in Hozpitality's Best 30 Finance and Purchase Leaders Powerlist in the Middle East for 2025. Anirudh is an accomplished finance professional and leader with over 15 years of extensive experience spanning Hotel Operations, business support, and auditing.
A highly qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and a strong academician from an early age, Anirudh began his professional journey in the hospitality industry as an auditor. He gained extensive exposure conducting internal and statutory audits at both hotel unit and corporate levels, with his audit expertise also extending to other industries such as retail, insurance, and service sectors. He later became an integral part of hotel operational finance, holding impactful roles with dominant hospitality operators worldwide.
Anirudh’s role has been instrumental over the past 8+ years, during which he held significant leadership positions in both Marriott and Accor properties. In his current capacity, the Dubai World Trade Centre Cluster has appointed Anirudh as their Cluster Director of Finance, overseeing Novotel World Trade Centre, Ibis World Trade Centre, and Ibis One Central. In this crucial role, he is responsible for comprehensive financial planning and analysis, meticulous budgeting, and actively supporting the strategic vision for these cluster hotels.
Industry sources indicate that Anirudh played a pivotal role in strategic cost management during the challenging COVID-19 pandemic and was instrumental in pioneering technology-driven finance functions. His emphasis also includes dedicated staff career development, and building robust procurement functions designed to drive efficiency and achieve synergistic outcomes.
His previous roles predominantly featured the luxury hotel segment, including the recent successful opening of the iconic Katara Towers in Lusail, Doha (comprising Fairmont & Raffles Doha). He has also driven financial operations for prestigious properties such as St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Luxury Collection Al Wathba, Fairmont Jaipur, and JW Marriott Pune.
