With over 13 years of extensive experience in accounting and finance, Hatem has become an instrumental figure in the successful pre-opening phases of multiple hotel properties, including two flagship hotels under his current cluster leadership. His profound expertise, strong leadership, and exceptional financial management have had a deep and lasting impact on the success of these complex projects.

Hatem played a crucial role in meticulously managing the pre-opening finances for both Hilton Dubai Creek and Marriott Marquis Dubai, Jewel of the Creek. He ensured seamless financial operations by expertly setting up essential financial systems, including Sky Jana, Bayan HRMS, Sunsystem, OnQ, Opera, and Infrasys POS, for both properties. This comprehensive approach to financial infrastructure was fundamental to the smooth day-to-day operations for both hotels from day one.

Spearheading the creation and diligent management of both the pre-opening and the 2024 operational budgets, Hatem demonstrated impressive foresight and precision, perfectly aligning financial goals with operational needs. His highly efficient management ensured that both properties opened within their targeted financial parameters, even amidst tight timelines and complex demands.

Hatem successfully oversaw the monumental launch of Hilton Dubai Creek Hotel & Residences in December 2023 and Marriott Marquis Dubai in March 2024. His meticulous planning and hands-on leadership were absolutely key to the triumphant opening of these large-scale and significant properties.

Hatem's relentless dedication and exemplary leadership resulted in his well-deserved promotion to Cluster Director of Finance in 2025, where he continues to provide strong strategic direction for the financial operations of both properties. Notably, he has played key roles in the successful launch of seven pre-opening hotels throughout his career.

Hatem leads a dynamic team of 24 professionals, implementing an open and transparent communication structure that actively promotes a positive and collaborative work environment. His strong focus on employee development is clearly evident in his initiative to enroll four team members into the hotel’s prestigious leadership program, with two of them already successfully graduating and advancing in their careers.

Hatem has consistently fostered strong and productive relationships with key stakeholders, including management companies, discerning hotel owners, and vital internal teams.
