Samer is a highly consistent performer with over 26 years of extensive experience within top 5-star hospitality operators. He is recognized for his exceptional leadership skills and a proven ability to build and lead high-performing financial teams. Samer excels at creating strategy-based organizational structures that drive efficiency and has significantly contributed to the successful soft openings of prestigious hotels in Abu Dhabi.
Samer has dedicated over nine and a half years to InterContinental Abu Dhabi, initially serving as Assistant Director of Finance before being promoted to Director of Finance in April 2019. His career progression reflects a solid foundation in financial management across various prominent hotel groups. Prior to his significant tenure at InterContinental, he gained diverse experience as a Financial Controller and in HR at Telal Resort & Heritage Village and held Chief Accountant and Credit Manager roles at Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts and Kempinski Hotels in the UAE. Samer’s comprehensive understanding of hospitality finance is further underpinned by his Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce from Cairo University.
His strategic vision and hands-on experience in financial operations make him a truly influential leader in the Middle East hospitality sector.
