Wellness and Indulgence Come Together at The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai International Financial Centre
Indulge in a divine dessert, available at Cake patisserie and stand a chance to win spa experiences.
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 30 August 2020 The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai International Financial Centre invites guests to savour a unique guilt-free dessert, inspired by the luxury skincare brand, marocMaroc, as well as Moroccan culture and produce. The guests will not only be able to treat themselves to a mouth-watering dessert, but also stand a chance to win a variety of spa experiences and gifts by spinning the wheel of fortune.
Profoundly influenced by all things Moroccan, the dessert, although very light in texture, definitely doesnt skimp out on flavour. This 192 calorie treat is packed with delectable ingredients like apricots, lavender, crushed almonds for added crunch, and orange zest. Whipped up into airy mousse and laid on a heavenly marzipan sponge for extra softness, the dessert offers a refreshing taste. The date at the heart of the dessert, enveloped in the apricot compote, is a cherry on top that ties all the flavours into a sophisticated bouquet. This low-calorie gem is completely free of any artificial flavourings and refined sugar.
Created by the talented Executive Pastry Chef, Remi Martinazzo, taking the inspiration from marocMaroc products and active ingredients present in the luxury skincare range, such as orange and almonds, he masterfully drew parallels between elements of Moroccan heritage and ingredients and combined everything in a culinary masterpiece, celebrating both wellbeing and subtle indulgence.
We are thrilled to be launching this initiative. When creating the dessert we were drawing the inspiration from marocMarocs philosophy and ingredients, whilst also paying homage to the beauty of Morocco. Nowadays, the concept of healthy living and clean eating is at its peak, and whilst nutritionists encourage to eliminate desserts from diets or substitute with healthier alternatives which are rarely executed well. So to prove that healthy desserts do exist we created this apricot delight. Moreover, little indulgences like this make life exciting. said Remi Martinazzo, Executive Pastry Chef at The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Dubai International Financial Centre.
Guests opting for a decadent dessert are also presented with the opportunity to try their luck winning the luxurious facials, massages at the award-wining, and gym memberships to name a few. The wheel of fortune together with the dessert display will be located at Cake patisserie from September 10thfor two weeks.
marocMaroc products and treatments are available at The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Dubai International Financial Centre, Spa for guests to enjoy. The Spa consists of 13 naturally lit treatment rooms including two couples rooms, a fitness centre and separate steam rooms for ladies and gentlemen, the spa is a therapeutic sanctuary where multi-sensory experiences bring everything into alignment.
