- Fully understand the hotel network infrastructure, computer systems and software.
- Detects and resolves IT related system / technical problems encountered.
- Provides technical support in the hotel Computer Systems, Point of Sales Systems, Software, Printers, Servers, Office Automation, System Applications, E-Mail, Internet and Intranet
- Provides IT support to hotel guests as per requests from Front Office / Guest Service Center.
- Escalates issues / problems cannot be resolved to senior IT members.
- Assists in implementation and maintenance of backup procedure and full file recoverability.
- Ensures that appropriate hardware and software are correctly used as per company guidelines.
- Reports any irregularities found to direct superior in IT Department.
- Carries out computer systems troubleshooting with related parties according to schedules set by the Manager.
- Assists in the maintenance and security of the computer room, and protection in-house and external data security.
- Assists in maintaining complete and up-to-date documentation on existing network configuration and applications.
