Job Description For IT Specialist with F&B background

We are urgently looking for an IT Specialist with F&B background

Scope: 
Responsible for all information technology duties and responsibilities of the company.

General responsibilities and duties of the position:

1. You are responsible for planning and overseeing all IT related projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget.
2. Assessing the sustainability and environmental impact of information technology on the company.
3. Managing the IT related maintenance and repair works of the restaurants and offices.

Specific Tasks:

1. Managing information technology and computer systems.
2. Planning, organizing, controlling and evaluating IT and electronic data operations.
3. Managing IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance.
4. Designing, developing, implementing and coordinating systems, policies and procedures.
5. Acting in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy.
6. Identifying problematic areas and implementing strategic solutions in time.
7. Auditing systems and assessing their outcomes.
8. Preserving assets, information security, and controlling structures.
9. Handling IT annual budget and ensuring cost effectiveness.
10. Running regular checks on network, backup systems, and data security.
11. Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems.
12. Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization.
13. Designing training programs and workshops for staff.
14. Conducting regular system audits.
15. Running and sharing regular operation system reports with senior staff.
16. Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects, including; system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages.
17. Providing direction for IT team members
18. Identifying opportunities for team training and skills advancement

Job Specification:

1. Has Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
2. 5-7 years working experience in IT management or relevant experience.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems.
5. Expertise in data center management and data governance.
6. Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation.
