Job Description For Marketing Manager
JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
- Responsible for coordinating internal and external marketing activities for the property.
- Effectively handle publicity, media coverage, community relations, corporate image, and special events in order to market the company image.
- Promote the brand name through formulated advertising and public relations campaign and plan and reinforce the corporate identity
- Support the implementation of ongoing, focused media and community relations programs, that are strategically planned to support and enhance the marketing efforts
Develop and execute promotional and brand-building exercises. - Coordinate strategic local/regional/international public relation campaigns to achieve marketing goals
- Create new business tie-ups and partners
- Liaise and coordinate with the advertising agencies and media companies
Overlook all press releases and maintain a constant supply of articles for the media partners - Assist in producing collateral from concept to final product in line with corporate guidelines to build brand recall.
- Communicate information about the property’s services, facilities, events, and Employees in a positive manner to the marketplace
- Develop an annual marketing plan for the promotion of the property, Rooms, and F&B goals on a monthly basis
- Issue press releases and features about the company to local, national, and international media when appropriate
- Establish and maintain close contact with local, national, and foreign journalists to maximize positive media coverage.
- Write and keep up to date the property’s press kit, biographies, newsletters, and developments.
- Manage the online content and imagery of Holiday Inn and in the publication of the employee newsletters and Intranet
- Establish effective relations with Agencies to devise and maximize publicity materials (printed collaterals, radio campaigns, advertising, etc.
Skills
Education, Qualifications & Experiences
You should be preferably an advertising, marketing, or mass communication graduate with a minimum of three years experience in a similar field and with a good knowledge of the local and international media and media culture. You must be computer literate with effective communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Arabic (preferable) language ability is a definite plus.
