Job Description
Job Responsibilities for Barmaid:
- Assists the bartenders in mixing and serving extensive range of ingredients including liquor, bitters, soda, water, sugar, and fruits to create beverages that fit the guests’ taste preferences.
- Responds to the concerns of the guests in a professional manner.
- Informs the bartender of any special requests or concerns of the guests.
- Assists in maintaining the bar well-stocked with ingredients and making sure that all the equipment are functional.
- Ensures adherence to all local and national liquor laws.
- Reporting to duty on time and in the correct uniform.
- Ensuring that the bar area is kept clean at all times.
- Ensuring the accuracy of all floats by checking them and reporting irregularities.
- Dispensing and servicing of drinks and food if required.
- Assisting the other staffs at the bar area.
- Communicating our services and facilities to guests as required.
- Dealing with any concerns of the guests in a professional manner and notifying management if necessary.
- Ensuring that the guests’ needs and requirements are met.
- Maintaining a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming.
- Observing all safety procedures and rules.
- Reporting incidents or damage in the bar area to the reporting authority.
- Attend all training courses as notified by the management.
Qualifications:
- With prior experience as barmaid/ barista or in related field.
- Preferably female.
- Must have a pleasing personality.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Must have wide knowledge about all kinds of beverages.
- Must be pleasant and professional looking.
- Must be attentive to details.
