Entrepreneur, Pack and Port (From February 22, 2017 – Present) <br> <br>Client Management: <br> <br>• Generating leads by identifying new potential customers in the overseas market (Maldives, Seychelles, etc.) and understanding their area of business and possible requirements <br>• Improving sales with the existing customers and maintaining regular communication with them to ensure healthy business relationship is established <br>• Engaging in price negotiation and ensuring that the order is cinched <br> <br>Vendor Network Development: <br> <br>• Visiting specialized trade shows to develop a good network of vendors <br>• Identifying and shortlisting potential vendors based on the product requirements <br>• Negotiating with the vendors about the customized product specifications, pricing, payment terms and delivery time <br>• Working with the vendors for creating product samples wherever required and following-up for on-time delivery <br> <br>Sourcing: <br> <br>• Locating the manufacturers both in India and globally to get regional point of contact for bulk orders <br>• For smaller quantity products, identifying the right vendors using different channels like India Mart, Trade India, Amazon, Google Search, etc. <br>• Analyzing the requirements to understand the product specifications if it is a customized product <br>• Getting quotations from different vendors for arriving at the best market price for the requested product specifications <br>• Initiating vendor evaluation process to identify the best suitable quotation keeping in mind the product quality, pricing, delivery time and the reliability of the vendor <br>• Negotiating with the selected vendor for getting the best price of the product <br> <br>Pricing and Preparation of quotations: <br> <br>• Arriving at the final price to be quoted to the customer which includes all other costs like taxes, bank charges, cost of packing materials, labor, local transportation, profit margin, etc. <br>• Calculating air and sea freight based on the size/weight and type of the product <br>• Preparing the final quotation for customer which includes air or sea freight charges, Incoterms, delivery lead time, payment terms, etc. <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br>Quality Check: <br> <br>• After receiving order confirmation from the client, visiting the vendor location (manufacturing plant) for inspection purpose <br>• Matching the final products with the sample and confirming if the product is in line with the requested specifications <br> <br>Domestic Transportation and Export Packing Supervision: <br> <br>• Supervising the packing process to ensure export packing standards and that the packages have appropriate shipping marks <br>• Obtaining all the required details for preparing the packing list (no. of units per package, weight, dimensions of the package, etc.) <br>• Identifying optimal domestic transport methods based on the type of product and the urgency of the order <br> <br>Documentation: <br> <br>• Preparation of purchase orders for vendors for placing the order <br>• Preparation of pro forma invoice for customers <br>• Preparation of export invoice and packing list for customers <br>• Review and approval of export documents like Shipping bill, Airway bill/ Bill of Lading, etc. <br>• In case of medicine or chemical shipments, preparing specific documents which describes all the product details like manufacturer’s name, batch number, expiry date, chemical combination, etc. for Customs’ approval <br>• In case of Dangerous Goods (DG Cargo) or medicine shipments, submitting additional documents like Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), Certificate of Analysis (COA), etc. to the airline for accepting the cargo <br> <br>Coordination of Export Logistics: <br> <br>• Handling both air and sea shipments (LCL/FCL) <br>• Coordinating with freight forwarders until the cargo is cleared <br> <br>Administrative role: <br> <br>• Filing of GST (3B and GSTR1) on a monthly basis <br>• Applying for LUT document for getting tax deductions <br>• Submission of export documents at the bank and completing the formalities for receiving the foreign remittance (Payment from the customers)2016 - 2017 (1 Year)
