ETA Star Hospitality Star Metro Hotel & Apartments Plumber Feb 2008 to April 2010 Plumber Duties and Responsibilities 1. Interprets blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems and plumbing materials. 2. Installs pipes and fixtures, such as sinks and toilets, for water, gas, steam, air, or other liquids. 3. Installs supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation assembles fittings and valves for installation. 4. Modifies length of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing materials as needed for a building and uses saws and pipe cutters as necessary. 5. Installs heating and air-conditioning systems, including water heaters. 6. Collaborates with contractors, construction workers, electricians, pipefitters, and steamfitters in installing and repairing plumbing and tests plumbing systems for leaks and other problems. 7. Analyses problem and identifies appropriate tools and materials for repair. 8. Chooses plumbing materials based on budget, location, and intended uses of building. 9. Follows health and safety standards, complies with building codes, study, and analyse blueprints and floor plans to understand the plumbing system and water supply system layout. 10. Navigate the assembly and installation of pipes and tubes without interfering with existing infrastructure. 11. Assemble valves, fittings, tubes, water system appliances, install, and maintain building water systems and troubleshoot and fix issues relating to water supply lines. 12. Emergency repairs within & plant room the hotel and Diagnose, maintain, and repair plumbing systems within the hotel. 13. Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned and committed to delivering a high level of customer service. 14.
