Position Description:Responsible for the cabin cleaning, replenishing of all cabin amenities, minibar, glassware, cutlery, laundry valet services and executing any other request in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures, onboard benefit grid and in partnership with the other Housekeeping Utilities Executes the cleaning of all public areas front of house and heart of house as assigned in the public area cleaning sections as a member of the day or night cleaning teamResponds to problems quickly and efficiently with a problem solving, proactive attitude. Communicates and records any challenges to the supervisor and escalates conflict resolution as necessaryReports non-functional equipment and any other topics impacting the operation in public areas, pantries and corridors to the supervisorCommunicates actively with the Senior Housekeeping Utility regarding all work-related issues and other relevant topicsResponsible for the proper storage of flowers and material in the flower pantry. Ensures pantries and storage areas are kept in impeccable condition and in accordance with Public Health, Agricultural and Safety StandardsEnsures that all safety protocols are followed and wears all recommended PPE when working with equipment and chemicals. Ensures the safe storage of all chemicals as recommended by manufacturer guide lines following the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)Assists in executing inventories as requested. Consistently strives to minimize waste, breakage and wear and tear and ensures to follow proper procedures when discharging garbagePerforms embarkation duties as assigned and provides wheelchair assistance to guest at the embarkation platform when required and requested by the supervisorAdheres to the Outbreak Prevention and Response Plan in case of an outbreak QUALIFICATIONS Valid Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) and flag certification for the duration of the contract and appropriate to positionSound knowledge and experience in cleaning and employee cabin services. Advanced understanding of processes and procedures in the Cruise and Hotel industrySound knowledge and experience in Public Health rules and regulations related to United States Public Health (USPH) and Hazardous Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP)Sound knowledge of Property Management and Inventory Management systems in the capacity of a regular userPrevious experience onboard a luxury cruise ship as a Housekeeping Utility or similar role is required. In addition, experience in a luxury hospitality environment is preferred PHYSICAL & LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

The Housekeeping Utility provides cabin services to all Ladies and Gentlemen in their care with the goal of delivering complete satisfaction. This position is executing cleaning activities in public areas front of house and heart of house operating in accordance with the Public Health Standards and Standard Operating Procedures.

- All Yacht Ladies and Gentlemen must be physically able to participate in emergency lifesaving procedures and drills. Full use and range of arms and legs as well as full visual, verbal and hearing abilities are required to receive and give instructions in the event of an emergency including the lowering of lifeboats. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- All Yacht Ladies and Gentlemen must be able to communicate in the English language in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from guests, supervisors and co-workers.
