The Spa at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is looking for a highly qualified Aesthetician, able to expertly provide services for guests, including but not limited to Facials, Body Treatments, Nail Services, Waxing and Makeup.

What you will be doing:

Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service

Perform Aesthetic treatments while maintaining the clients comfort at all times

Perform 30, 60 and 90 minute treatments as required

Ensure individualized guest service through acknowledging and responding to their needs and expectation

Maintain a clean, hygienic and neat work environment at all times, ensuring all equipment is in safe working order

Actively participate in other areas of the Spa Operation, such as body treatments, product knowledge, spa reception and retail sales

Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way

Perform nail services in a safe, comfortable, and hygienic manner

Perform facials on guests using safe and professional techniques

Perform cosmetic services in a safe, hygienic manner

Maintain an ample inventory of all products necessary to perform all facial, manicure and pedicure services. Prepare kits as required

Assist in any and all ways in the beauty salon when not scheduled to perform facial or nail services. This assistance is to include acting as salon receptionist, performing cosmetic services, selling and restocking professional retail skin care and hair care products

Constantly maintain an up to date knowledge of the personal services performed and any revisions in the products or procedures used

Answer all questions related to services performed and products used

Assist in the coordination of salon services with other spa programs

Ensure a clean and safe working environment, and actively participate in health and safety initiatives

Adhere to all hotel environmental policies and initiatives

Carry out any other tasks as assigned

Your experience and skills include:

Previous experience as an Aesthetician or Spa Therapist beneficial

Certification from an accredited school of Aesthetics required

All professional licenses are to be current

CPR and First Aid certification an advantage

Self-motivated, with the ability to make effective decisions

Demonstrates initiative, and the ability to work with minimal supervision

Ability to maintain high service levels under pressure

Ability to consistently stand and walk through out shift

You may be required to work on holidays, weekends, overnights and other non-day shifts. Submission of your application to Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise indicates that you are able to meet these requirements as needed.
