Assistant Concierge Manager

As a Assistant Concierge Manager you will ensure all guests needs are effectively dealt with, guests belongings are secured and hospitality is of the highest standard.

What you will be doing: - Provide a permanent presence in the hotel lobby, ensuring all guests and visitors are welcomed, thus creating an excellent first impression
- Gain a thorough knowledge of the local area, both tourist attractions, business location and of local events to assist leisure and business travellers during their stay
- Recruiting, training and development of staff
- Organise the booking of tickets for tours, theatres and local attractions to enhance the guests experience
- Provide a travel information centre
- Co-ordinate and oversee the parking of guests and visitors cars as determined by the hotels own parking arrangements
- Assist the Concierge Manager in day-to-day assignments
Your experience and skills include: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Positive attitude and supportive, team-based approach towards the attainment of the hotel's short and long term goals
- Experience in a similar leadership role
Your team and working environment: - Work well under pressure in a busy work environment
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
