• As the Assistant Director of Housekeeping, you will be part of the leadership team and provide guidance to a diverse group of Ambassadors with varying personalities while building quality and engagement and a sense of value for the team members in the Houskeeping Department.
• You will assist in day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping department to including maintaining staffing levels, ensuring that quality standards are consistent, dealing with guest requests, handling laundry and any issues encountered.
• You will exercise good judgment and a strong intuition to anticipate the needs of the department and liason with your manager to support the team and ensure productivity is maintained.
• P rovide feedback to the team and provide assistance in the development of the team's skills.
• Conducting regular inspections on guestrooms and public areas and coaching/counseling ambassadors on areas and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide support both on the floor and in assisting with office duties, paperwork and attending interdepartmental meetings.
• Maintain quality and guest satisfaction scores. Assist in developing and implementing procedures and practices that will positively impact the guest satisfaction scores.
