Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

As an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, you will provide support to the Food & Beverage Managers and Senior Leadership with the day-to-day operations of the various venues and ensure the delivery of luxury service to our valued guests.

What you will be doing: - Ensure smooth operation of the venue, m aximizing service delivery in all areas
- Ensuring outlet maintains a first class and positive visual impact including: ambiance, cleanliness, orderliness, décor and service flows.
- Ensure the delivery of excellent service by maintaining high staff morale and team spirit.
- Working together with the Outlet Manager and Chefs to develop new menu ideas and promotions.
- Overall recruiting, staffing and scheduling ensuring an adequate balanced staff and leadership level while maintaining forecasted productivities.
Your experience and skills include: - 2 years Food & Beverage supervisory experience
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Open Table and Property Manager experience is an asset.
- Service focused personality is essential and previous leadership experience required
- Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
- Communicate thoughts, actions and opportunities clearly with strong networking skills
- Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performance
Your Certifications Include: - Tuberculosis (TB) Clearance
- Maui County Liquor Card
- TIPS Certification
- Food Safety or ServSafe Certification
Your team and working environment: - Must be able to lift up to 50-lbs
- Constant walking & standing
- Occasional kneeling, pushing and pulling
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity
