Job Description For Assistant Manager - Purchase
Novotel Imagicaa Khopoli
- KEY OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational - To oversee and ensure the effective implementation of the tender system so that the continuous supply of quality goods and services to the hotel are not compromised.
- To ensure the timely preparation of purchase order so that all approved purchase requests can be ordered and the goods delivered by the suppliers on the date needed.
- To conduct periodic market survey in association with department concerned to determine and/or validate the availability and prices of market goods.
- To coordinate and liaise with head of department on all outstanding matters pertaining to quality, reliability of delivery so that the standards set by the hotel are not compromised.
- To keep track of all outstanding purchase orders to ensure that goods are delivered on time, in formalizing a monthly outstanding order report per department.
- To be ready and responsible when assigned to perform any other duties as designated by higher management.
Team Management - To maintain a good relationship with all departments.
- To maintain a good relationship within the department.
General Duty The Assistant Materials Manager is required to function under Accor's environmental and corporate social responsibility norms including but not limited to:
- Incorporating Accor's environmental charter initiatives into daily practices.
- Working towards Accor's sustainability goals in complete cohesion with the Indian environmental practices and local laws and regulations.
- Being involved in educating the local community on environmental hazards and encouraging their participation in reducing their impact.
