Job Description For Chief Gardener

Job Description
- Manage budgets and maintain applicable quality standards and records
- Manage and maintain general cleanliness in the garden area
- Quality control of all aspects of gardening including health and safety
- Train the gardening team and enable them to confidently deal with all aspects of their roles
- Manage and maintain gardening supplies
- Use of gardening tools and equipment in a safe manner
- Alteration and construction of approved gardens
- Maintain irrigation equipment within the resort
- Maintain clean, neat and tidy personal presentation
- Maintain proper, clean and safe conditions in work areas and vehicles
- Practice the kinetic lifting methods when moving all heavy items
- Be familiar with technical details of the resort's plant and services
- Assist guests, residents and fellow staff members in a courteous and professional manner
- To uphold a professional image for the Resort at all times whilst undertaking daily duties
- To develop professional customer relationships and ongoing provision of excellence in customer service (internal and external)
Work Experience
-Strong leadership, interpersonal and training skills
-Minimum of 5 Years experiences in 5-star International Chain Hotels.
-Good communication and customer contact skills
-Results and service oriented with an eye for details
-A team player & builder
-A motivator & self-starter
-Fun personality
-Open-minded characteristics.
-Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
-Ability to maintain priorities, communicate with owner and the management
