Job Description

Novotel and ibis Tainui Hamilton are the leading hotels in the Hamilton CBD and are excited to be looking for a Conference & Guest Coordinator. Working closely with the Sales & Front Office teams you will be a passionate individual who is an admin superstar, loves guest relations and working in events.

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Liaising with guests on their event requirements
• Coordinating & updating run sheets for events
• Pre & post event follow up, including invoicing and guest feedback
• Supporting the Sales & Front Office team in an admin capacity
• Managing the hotel's online presence through reviews, social media and websites
• Supporting Front Office with VIP & loyalty guests

Work Experience

• High level of attention to detail
• Admin superstar
• Excellent communication (verbal & written)
• Passion for hospitality & events
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Good knowledge of standard MS Office applications
• Opera knowledge would be an advantage
• Experience in an admin/coordinator role preferable
• Knowledge of social media & online review tools
