What you will be doing: - Leading the Engineering team in their day to responsibilities
- Collaboratively liaise with the administer needs to other departments
- Ensuring that front of house and heart of house facilities are well maintained and comply with luxury standards to maintain enhanced guest satisfaction and enjoyment
- Continuously inspect areas throughout the resort to immediately resolve safety concerns
- Facilitating the departments operating budget and financial controls
- Clearly understanding business administration, building material, and general furnishings that reflect a luxury hotel
- Maintaining compliance of fire, electrical, plumbing codes and health, sanitation, OSHA and ADA requirements
- Tracking accurate controls for guest rooms and publics areas
- Oversight of preventative maintenance program for front of house, heart of house, mechanical and infrastructure
- Full comprehension of job assignments & manufacturer direction of the hotels equipment
- Project management accountability for capital and other projects
- Leading planning for long range investment and efficiency opportunities
Your experience and skills include: - Passionate to grow and develop self and others.
- Previous experience in a similar leadership role within a similar hotel brand or business.
- Strong relator with ability to build relationships.
- Strategic, creative and bale to communicate effectively.
- A proven leader who is able to inspire others and drive change.
- Strong business acumen and demonstrated success in driving business.
