What you will be doing: - Manage all aspects of Fairmont Gold, ensuring all service standards are followed with friendly and engaging service, maintaining the highest level of guest satisfaction at all times
- Handle Fairmont Gold guest concerns and react quickly by logging, notifying proper areas
- Consistently pursue opportunities to enhance Fairmont Gold products and services by analyzing guest feedback and trends through feedback platforms
- Develop and maintain relationships with loyal, regular, and VIP guests
- Recruit, train and develop the Fairmont Gold team, including Fairmont Gold Supervisors, Captains, and Food and Beverage Servers
- Develop and maintain relations with business partners within the resort in order to ensure premier service for Fairmont Gold guests (restaurants, transportation, and activity providers)
- Achieve financial targets through managing payroll expenses
- Responsible for monitoring and controlling food and beverage costs and par stocks
- Identify opportunities to elevate food and beverage menus and offerings, evolving with seasons and market trends, maximizing revenue streams
- Conduct ongoing preventative maintenance in Fairmont Gold guest rooms and Lounge to ensure room premium room product at all times
- Other duties as assigned
Your experience and skills include: - Previous leadership experience in Front Desk Manager, Restaurant Manager, Fairmont Gold Manager, or a similar guest relations capacity required
- Proven understanding and delivery of exceptional guest service
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team in a service-orientated environment
- University/College degree in a related discipline is an asset
- Previous PMS experience required
- Must possess a professional presentation
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to focus attention on guests' needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
