What you will be doing:

• Manage all aspects of Fairmont Gold, ensuring all service standards are followed with friendly and engaging service, maintaining the highest level of guest satisfaction at all times
• Handle Fairmont Gold guest concerns and react quickly by logging, notifying proper areas
• Consistently pursue opportunities to enhance Fairmont Gold products and services by analyzing guest feedback and trends through feedback platforms
• Develop and maintain relationships with loyal, regular, and VIP guests
• Recruit, train and develop the Fairmont Gold team, including Fairmont Gold Supervisors, Captains, and Food and Beverage Servers
• Develop and maintain relations with business partners within the resort in order to ensure premier service for Fairmont Gold guests (restaurants, transportation, and activity providers)
• Achieve financial targets through managing payroll expenses
• Responsible for monitoring and controlling food and beverage costs and par stocks
• Identify opportunities to elevate food and beverage menus and offerings, evolving with seasons and market trends, maximizing revenue streams
• Conduct ongoing preventative maintenance in Fairmont Gold guest rooms and Lounge to ensure room premium room product at all times
• Other duties as assigned

Your experience and skills include:

• Previous leadership experience in Front Desk Manager, Restaurant Manager, Fairmont Gold Manager, or a similar guest relations capacity required
• Proven understanding and delivery of exceptional guest service
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team in a service-orientated environment
• University/College degree in a related discipline is an asset
• Previous PMS experience required
• Must possess a professional presentation
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to focus attention on guests' needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
