An exciting opportunity has become available for a Director of Business Development, Procurement to join our team. This role be responsible for promoting and developing the groups procurement offering to internal and external customers. The objective of this role is to work with the respective category leaders to drive the compliance rate of hotels and optimise negotiated agreements whilst developing the customer pipeline for business outside of Accor.

Getting to know the role and your responsibilities

• Develop presentations in conjunction with category leaders to effectively communicate negotiated contracts to the hotel network.
• Present on relevant Procurement topics (opportunities, updates, risk, advantages etc) at internal forums - with the outcome of driving compliance & identifying opportunities.
• Liaise with Suppliers & category leaders to develop a calendar of engaging events & sessions to facilitate value between both parties.
• Provide up to date and "on the ground" feedback to category leaders from the field.
• Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for initiatives designed to drive specific compliance targets in conjunction with the category leaders.
• Develop relationships with key supply partners in order to leverage the total groups scale and direct opportunity for ASTORE.
• Seek out and explore new contacts and relationships in the market with a view to offering Procurement services. This includes attending networking events, seminars, forums etc.
• Facilitate and coordinate the relationship between Category Managers, Clients and Suppliers.
• Lead contract ratification activities with the Suppliers, the business and clients (when applicable)

What we need from you

• Bachelor Degree in business, Procurement, Supply Chains or project management
• Proven leadership skills
• Experience in international environment
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chains or operations
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
• Sound understanding of basic financial principals and strong business acumen
