DIRECTOR OF EVENT OPERATIONS

An exceptional opportunity presents itself for a Director of Event Operations to be part of an iconic London Opening. The landmark Old War Office located in historic Whitehall, is being transformed into an iconic Raffles ultra-luxury hotel and deluxe residences.

Reporting into the Director of Food & Beverage, you will be oversee the operation of all Event space ensuring the delivery of functions to the highest standards at all times.

To control and analyse, on an on-going basis, the quality level of product and service, guest and client satisfaction, operating costs, sanitation, cleanliness and hygiene

To work closely with the Director of Events and Head Chef Events attending relevant client, operation, budget, and forecasting meetings.

To be aware of market trends in the industry and adapting these to Raffles London

To be responsible for forecasting accurately casual and agency wage costs

To co-ordinate with the Director of Purchasing for special purchases requirements relating to the Events Department

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience in a similar role within in a luxury environment
• Possess excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
• Must be flexible, adaptable and have a 'can do' attitude!
• Good understanding of emotional luxury
• Experience in recruiting and developing a team of casual workers
