What you will be doing:

• Ensure the highest levels of sanitation and tidiness are maintained before, during and after each shift
• Is able to read a BEO and knows how to complete set-up
• Maintain contact with meeting planners during their events
• Responsible for organising and coordinating all set-up activities of function areas
• Sets up function areas correctly and uniformly making sure materials used are clean and in good repair
• Knows and understands set-up of different table arrangements
• Performs refreshing of meeting rooms and coffee stations etc.
• To mentor an induction scheme for new colleagues and follow up on any concerns
• Identify training needs and follow through with on the job training
• Inspect function areas making sure furniture and place settings for meetings is correct
• Clears room and stores furniture and other equipment according to standards set by the set-up department, paying attention to the health and safety of the individual, colleagues and guests
• Other duties as assigned

• Warm and caring personality
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
• Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming
• Previous service experience is an asset
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Highly responsible and reliable
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Your team and working environment:

• Working a fast paced team environment
• Shifts will be during the day, evening and weekend
• Must be eligible to live and work in the UK
