Mercure Darwin Airport Resort is just steps from the airport and 15 minutes from the Darwin CBD. We cater for corporate travellers and school or sports groups, the adjacent Novotel Darwin Airport Hotel offers a range of room styles and conference facilities.
This position is to ensure that the highest level of customer satisfaction & service is offered and maintained at all times in relation to welcoming guests to the hotel complex, the transfer, storage and handling of guest luggage and property as well as responding to guest requests for assistance and or information . Accurately and efficiently receive and process guest reservations whilst observing policy and procedures for the hotel operation. To record and distribute all guest and employee messages accurately and efficiently. Regular cleaning of all public areas including Pool, foyer, cleaning of ashtrays and tables. Ensure the Foyer area, including entry/exit doors, remains clean and presentable at all times. Assist any/all departments across the hotel when required or directed to ensure guest expectations are met, this includes Kitchen, F&B and Housekeeping.
The hotels have wonderful staff who truly live Accor's Heartist culture. This broad role works in conjunction with reservation teams to ensure quality service provided to guests.
It will be the All Rounder's responsibility to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and to work collaboratively with all departments of the hotel to ensure customer satisfaction is consistently achieved.
You will have experience or formal training in reception including working experience in a star class hotel or a fast paced working environment. Demonstrating an understanding of customer service skill, telephone manner & learning and development will be highly regarded.
An exceptional All Rounder who is flexible, adaptable and thrives in a diverse environment. Ideally it is expected that you attending to incoming calls in a professional and polite manner and constantly striving to provide Total Customer Satisfaction.
Must have H endorsement driving license, worked in hospitality or customer service industry, demonstrating a passion for providing excellent service. Your ability to manage competing and changing priorities will see you succeed in the role.
