Novotel Surfers Paradise is conveniently located in the heart of Surfers Paradise, with excellent shopping, entertainment & nightlife areas all close by. The hotel features 408 well-appointed rooms, along with a variety of dining options including: The Restaurant, Blvd Café & Bar, pool bar and in-room dining. We offer a hospitable, family friendly environment to unwind, with a heated outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts BBQ area and gym. For our conferencing & events guests we have 6 modern function rooms available, accommodating up to 500 delegates.

Some of the things you'll be doing include:

• Attending to guest enquiries and requests in a timely manner
• Delivering linen and guest amenities to the service areas
• Carrying out allocated cleaning duties to achieve brand standards throughout the hotel
• Moving furniture, cots and rollaway beds as required
• Safe use of chemicals
• Assisting with regular equipment stocktaking

What we're looking for:

• A friendly and professional attitude with the drive to exceed our guest expectations
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Knowledge of safe and efficient housekeeping procedures
• Excellent communication skills and comfortable using a 2 way radio
• Excellent grooming standards
• Someone who is physically fit and comfortable working autonomously
• The ability & flexibility to work in a 24 hour, 7 day rotating roster (must be available to work overnight when required)
