Housekeeping Runner

Fairmont El San Juan Hotel Runner is responsible for the cleaning and organization of the guest corridor, stairs, elevator, landing area and the organization. Deliver guest and team member requests in compliance with El San Juan Hotel standards. This role provides exceptional service that differentiates us from the competition. Fairmont El San Juan Hotel Room attendant is responsible for the overall cleanliness and sanitization of rooms and suites of our hotel. This role provides exceptional service that differentiates us from the competition.

What you will be doing:

• Organize and prioritize the tasks depending on event, VIP, occupancy and instructions by management.
• Prompt delivery of all guest and team members' requests.
• Send, receive and deliver guest's dry cleaning laundry items.
• Utilize the cleaning agents specified for the different surfaces and/or duties.
• Clean and sanitize public areas, elevator, corridor, stairs, ice machine etc. in compliance with Fairmont El San Juan Hotel and Health department standards.

• Comply with all safety and health department procedures as well as Company and/or departmental policies/procedures.
• Deliver and replenish guest linen, guest amenities and glassware.
• Check housekeeping cart for supply's and stock as needed.
• Report maintenance deficiencies in order to maintain the areas in compliance with hotel standards.
• Keep corridor, room attendant's closet and areas assigned organized and clean.
• Keep the par stock as established.
• Support room attendants in their work, as instructed by management
• Take out garbage.
• Throw the linen down the linen chute.
• Dispose bio-hazard items
• Handle the glass washing procedure according to our SOP.
• Operate floor machines.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

EDUCATION & SKILLS

• High School graduate
• Ability to speak English and Spanish

EXPERIENCE

• Housekeeping experience in related field preferred
• Hospitality experience preferred
