What you will be doing:

• Being a team player in assisting the Guest Attendants to ensure guest rooms are prepared efficiently
• Offer professional, friendly and engaging service to all guests and responding timely to any special requests
• Ensure Housekeeping departmental standards are followed
• Maintain inventory in Housekeeping closets
• Respond timely to guests' special requests for miscellaneous items ie. cribs, cots, towels etc.
• Collect used linen, garbage and recyclables from Guest Attendants' carts and closets
• Carpet and upholstery cleaning
• Follow departmental policies and procedures
• Report necessary maintenance items
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies

Your experience and skills include:

• Warm and caring personality; previous housekeeping experience an asset
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team with minimum supervision
• Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible and reliable
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Must be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime shifts

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
