Rate of Pay: Starting at $ 15.58 per hour. Full rate after one year is $16.60 per hour.

What you will be doing: Reporting to the Outlet Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards
- Answer phones and assist guests in placing orders, up selling when appropriate
- Co-ordinate and organize daily amenities to ensure they are delivered accurately
- Take an active role with the training and development of new and existing staff
- Process guest checks and remit and balance float daily
- Assist and perform server duties/functions as required
- Expedite orders and delegate calls to servers
- Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
- Perform opening, cleaning and closing duties
- Log, track and distribute gratuities to servers
- Adhere to the hotel's vehicle handling and safety policies while driving hotel and guest vehicles
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies
- Other duties as assigned
Your experience and skills include: - Minimum 1 year Food and Beverage experience required within the last 2 years
- Previous leadership experience required
- Successful completion of Food and Beverage test required 80% and above.
- Previous In Room Dining service experience is an asset
- Valid Alberta Driver's License is required
- Pro Serve certificate required
- Previous Point of Sale System is required
- Property Manager experience an asset
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

- Close proximity to Marmot Basin Ski Resort in winter and world-renowned hiking trails in summer

- Walking: 6-8 hr/day
- Standing: 6-8 hr/day
- Bending/reaching: 4-6 hr/day
- Pushing/pushing: 4-6 hr/day
- Physical effort: required to lift up to 50 lbs
- Environmental stress: high - inside/outside, winter conditions
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
