Job Description
Fairview Hotels have an exciting opportunity for a M&E Sales Executive to join the team
You will be responsible for all Meeting and Event bookings from initial enquirers to final details and hand over with the operations team.
This position is full time and primarily based in Wolverhampton and covers the midlands area in which we have 4 Hotels.
As M&E Sales Executive you will be expected to:
- Reply to all event and meeting enquiries within the required time frame quoting as per company price structure
- Keep all Meeting sites up to date
- Administrate Meeting broker and Cvent and ALL members points for meetings
- Take part in company workshops and training initiatives
- Deliver training to front desk on out of hours enquires
- Keep in touch with clients, agents and other parties regarding bookings and releases
- Chase events and update the system and reservations teams
- Liaise with Chef over menus and food pricing
- Present the function sheets to the team at the function sheet meeting
- Ensure all items are charged and billing confirmed prior to arrival
This is an office based role with the hours based 9am - 5.30pm but we would need flexibility event appointments which may take place out of normal hours i.e. you may need to do 1-2 evenings a month to see clients who cannot come during office hours
