By day, marvel at lake and mountain views, by night the stars are so brilliant the area has been designated a night sky reserve. You'll be busy all year round, helping the team provide the personalised service for which Peppers is renowned.

We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and highly energetic career focused Operations Manager to support and develop our dedicated onsite leadership team.

As our Operations Manager, you will:

• Have management experience gained within hotel environments, including significant exposure to Front Office, Housekeeping and Food & Beverage operations.
• Have experience within a Strata hospitality environment which is preferable.
• Have a strong commercial and business understanding.
• Have solid experience in revenue and yield management.
• Have sound financial skills including the preparation of budgets, forecasts and business plans.
• Have an eye for detail, strong organisational skills and have a strong focus and understanding of compliance both internally and aligned with local, regional and national legislative requirements.
• Possess exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills.
• Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Possess proven experience leading, supervising, training and developing teams.
• Have demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and be a positive management representative of the hotel.

What we are looking for:

• Someone with previous experience in a busy, dynamic and mixed ownership hotel environment who is an energetic and highly motivated natural leader.
• Someone with a high level of verbal communication.
• Someone who has experience in remote resort locations, who is community and career focused.
• A hospitality professional who is passionate about guest service and the art of hotel keeping and one who is aligned with our key values of; Guest Passion, Trust, Sustainable Performance, Spirit of Conquest, Innovation and Respect.

This is a live-in role where you will be based at one of our stunning lake Tekapo Properties residing in a modern three bedroom town house, the successful applicant's salary package will include onsite accommodation.
