Purchasing Clerk

Reporting the to the Director of Purchasing, the Purchasing Clerk t is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the purchasing storeroom.

What you will be doing:

Pick up all delivery orders from suppliers at the loading dock
Verify that delivered items match the packing slip
Check all orders for any damaged or bad products
Deliver all orders to the storeroom; unpack items and place them in the right location
Work closely with Purchasing Director to ensure that the products are received according to hotel standard and that any double shipments or shipments received in error are returned
Deliver all orders to the correct departments in a timely manner
Assist with the routing, filing and follow-up of purchase requisitions when necessary
Assist with end-of-month inventories
Able to work independently of supervision
Assisting with shipping packages
Other duties as assigned

Your experience and skills include:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to prioritize work in an environment with multiple interests
Ability to handle complex and confidential information with discretion
